Do something different.

In mediation, life or the kitchen, if you use the same tried and true techniques, you run the risk of stagnating. The results may be what you intended, but are they truly the "best" results?
Last night I picked up Thomas Keller's cookbook "Ad Hoc", he of "French Laundry" fame, and prepared oven roasted Halibut with an oyster mushroom sauce. Fresh roasted asparagus, drizzled in olive oil with a squeeze of lemon juice. Starch consisted of buttered Yukon Gold and red potato. Simple, elegant and a change of pace from my old patterns.
Keep it fresh, keep it new. Never tire of trying something different. You may be pleased with the results.
